Official POP MART London Stores

The best way to feel the perfect atmosphere of a store is by visiting a designated POP MART shop. London is the main location with the most active physical stores in the UK.

· Shaftesbury Avenue (SOHO): The original store. It often sells the most stock.

Some high-end department stores, including Harrods, have also set-up great POP MART displays. This means this trend is here to stay.

Secondary Markets: eBay and Etsy

eBay and Etsy are great platforms for you to find certain figures. On such platforms, you can find pre-owned figures.

However, you need to be cautious. These sites have a high risk of fake products. In addition, prices are very often above the regular retail price. This is what is referred to as "scalping." Before you buy anything from a secondary market, read the guide that we wrote about spotting a fake below.

A Collector's Deep Dive

Many people are in love with these newly released toys. A major part of the joy lies in the random "blind box" format and hunting down the rare figures.

How Do Blind Boxes Work?

The blind box idea is straightforward. Every box has one unpredictable character from the series. You don't know what you will get until you open it! The joy of collecting adds an extra strong element of surprise.

Often, collectors will buy a "case" of six boxes. A "sealed case" usually guarantees that you will get all six designs, though one of them might be replaced with a special "secret" figure.

The Ultimate Prize: The Secret

Each POP MART series includes a "secret" or "chase" figurine. This is a design that is different than usual and much harder to find.

For the Labubu Macaron series, the secret character is "Chestnut Cocoa." The chance of finding this secret figure is statistically 1 in 72. That means it is only included in one out of every 12 full cases on average. The fact that it is such a rare item means that it is much desired by collectors.

Why is This Series So Popular?

The Labubu Macaron series has gained success thanks to many factors. The creativity of Kasing Lung is loved by many audiences. The combination of soft plush with smooth vinyl is a great idea that gives a nice touch. The use of pastels brings back the trend.

The trend is also spurred on by social media. TikTok and Instagram unboxing videos are full of the hype. It is all part of a global 'art toy' phenomenon that mixes the art of collecting with art itself.

How to Spot a Fake Labubu Macaron

It is very important to be aware of potential dangers from fakes, especially when you purchase from sellers that are not official. Here is an expert's checklist that will help you to differentiate a real product from a counterfeit.

Signs on the Packaging

The box alone can provide you clues that will lead to the truth.

· Box Quality: Real boxes are made from thick cardboard materials that are strong and have a good finish. Fake boxes often use a flimsy cardboard type that bends easily. The fake box may have a blurry print on it, or it may have colors that are too bright or too dull.

· Hologram & QR Code: Authentic POP MART products come with a holographic sticker. This sticker shines like a rainbow. The box also has a QR code that you can scan to validate the item. Fakes, on the other hand, might have a sticker that is just printed with no shine, or a QR code that doesn't scan.

Examining the Figure

When you open the box, first inspect the figure itself.

· Material and Texture: A genuine Labubu Macaron is made out of unique vinyl plush materials. It has a soft and slightly fuzzy feel. Counterfeits often feel like hard, cheap plastic. Sometimes the fuzz is poorly applied and rubs off easily.

· Stitching and Seams: Pay special attention to the stitches at the seams where plush parts are joined. Authentic figures have very neat and tight stitches. Fake figures, on the other hand, often have messy seams that are uneven. They might also have threads sticking out.

· Face and Paint: The face is the key detail. On an original Labubu, the eyes and the mouth are printed in a clear, sharp manner. Counterfeits may have smudged paint or other features that are not symmetrically placed. They may also have colors that bleed into each other.

· Tag and Keychain: The tag and metal keychain clasp that come with it should feel high-quality. The tag that is found on an original has clear printing. The metal clasp has a sturdy feeling. Fakes use cheaper materials that feel light and flimsy.

FAQ: Your Labubu Macaron UK Questions

In 2026, here are the common questions from the UK collectors along with their answers.

1. How much should I pay for a Labubu Macaron in the UK?

The price for a single blind box from an authorized retailer in the UK usually ranges from 拢12 to 拢25. For a pack of 6, it will be around 拢80 to 拢100 or more. In case of secondary markets such as eBay, the price may go very high, particularly for the exclusive "Chestnut Cocoa" secret character.

2. Are the Labubu Macarons on Amazon or eBay UK real?

It's a mixed bag. While there are some good sellers, these platforms are notorious for the sale of counterfeit goods. Always check the ratings of the seller and read the most recent reviews. Compare the prices with the official retail price. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Our authentication guide could be used to check any figure you get.

3. Is "Labubu Shop UK" the official store?

No. While labubushopuk.com is a popular and highly regarded independent retailer in the community, it is not the official corporate store. The global site for POP MART that is accredited is popmart.com. Labubu Shop UK is a trusted third party seller and you can treat it as such.

4. Can I buy a specific Labubu Macaron character?

Yes, but not from official retailers who sell new, sealed blind boxes. You can find specific characters, which are opened, on secondary market web pages like eBay and Vinted. They are also available in collector group postings on Facebook. Expect to pay a higher price for the requested designs.

5. When will the Labubu Macaron series be restocked in the UK?

Restocks come on a regular basis but are gone within minutes because of the high demand. The best strategy for you is to keep track of the official POP MART UK social media pages, especially Instagram. They always provide updates on the stock availability at their London stores and any online stock.
